Riding on the waves of my mind. Swimming in my stream of consciousness. The walls of my heart are painted with lipstick kisses. In every breath I take, I feel the aftermath of our clash, the taste of you lingering in the back of my mouth. I let the smoke tickle my lips, trying to cleanse the room between our kisses. Closing my eyes I try to forget, to erase, but all that lingers is the fireworks, pierced into my thin skin. Your laughter is tattooed on my skin, your smile burned into my eyes. My throat aches from endless longing, lungs filling with cold void. Hands rioting, screaming for a tender touch, shivering, removed from your heat.

Thought I was alone I wasn't  

Pierce my heart with shattered pieces of unbreakable glass Fill it with broken tears and the roars of hopeless dreams Push me into the abyss, catch my hand only to let it go Let your grim grin be the last thing I lay my eyes upon before I'm consumed by dead darkness in a lost paradise And when my screams are reduced to frost-fallen memories turn around and say that you tried your best to save me

I feel fire filling me to every bone, burning me up controlling my every move taking over my very soul I speak fire hateful words, never to be taken back lies upon lies, wrapped in sweet beauty withhold in my last breath I see fire red consuming everything I ever loved, held dear, cared for leaving only dreadful memories in the ash
